What an amazing show, I wish there was more, you can tell they were still thinking about further storylines. A great production, cast, writing, directing. Wish we could have seen the aftermath.

Why.....why, why so much violance and lies and death and kills on the entertainement-media's today ? Hollywood and co represents : more and more monsters/gore, murderers celebrating and dope advertising. What they expect from us to do with that ? And.......in the very same time, they TURN : NUNS and PREACHERS and PRIEST INTO : BAD GUYS in series ,they destroy churchs in movies and most, they moquing, laughting-at the Lord. ( with subtility, I agree ). It's mathematical, they like dope and murderers but not the Lord. Do you need a dragon eating your car in front of you to realise ? ( For N.D.E belivers, Jesus is in many witnesses and storytells all around the world ). Don't be afraid/ASHAMED to just talk with JESUS, you can even talk with him in secret, while nobody notices it. Or you can ask him help in a very sad day and you will see. If, now, you reconise where is the devil, make the total opposite way from what he advises you in whispers from the lightedscreen. Sodenbergh always has some horror in all his stuff. In The Knick, it's literally capitalism, so scary and oppressive upon all characters and all life in the world. And scientific progress happens out of pure necessity to fight and overcome all the physical, material deprivations seeded by new economics. The only sort of characters whose creativities survive and thrive (to be coopted) are the consummately curious and asocial, or the consummately hateful and controlling. We get the seeds of eugenics (to become something worse for society than even rat economics) and the beginnings of modern psychiatry. It's hilarious how in the last episode, inventing negative eugenics as public health policy by the proto Nazi guy, and simply considering to talk to a patient to assess their mental health, by the black guy, are depicted as equally insane/revolutionary paradigm shifts.

Great show but with the annoying adverts on now TV I fell scenes I'm missing or being cut short. I'm gonna download torrent just to see if I'm missing parys. Just like when nurses confession to dad or them goes to the advert

its baffles me how some writers can still create a great brilliant piece of art show great character actors and fabulous script mood and genre mixing just to have it canceled in 2 short seasons dosent make any sense really do the writers even think about a you know a beginning middle and end breaking bad as perfect example or just want to make something entertaining for a little while then when they see fit or when they feel like it they just drop the ball and cancel it its low key rude and disappointing when the viewers just wanted the great quality and content to continue
