other high dollar gun makers use the same type of twisted barrels. no lands and groves , but said to be more accurate.

The barrels have chrome plated polygonal rifliing. They are sweet pistols. I bought 2 of them.

this round is not like the .380 which is 9x17mm. the makorov is 9x18mm. that means the casing is 1mm longer. it falls between the.380 and the 9mm luger (9x19mm). great vid of you shooting. i love this weapon perfect chose for the budget gun owner you can pick them up for around $200

if you're using factory / surplus with a copper coat, then no worries or course. standard cleaning applies. Sorry to stick my beak in but i don't want anyone gettin hurt

the polygonal rifling makes self-cast boolits risky due to lead build-up; make sure you use a compound specific for removing lead each time if you're shooting boolits from your mak. just a safety tip to keep your hands intact :)

The gun does have rifling. It's polygonal. Take a closer look.
