🪟 The Johari Window. Part 2 🔹 Expanding the Open Area The larger your open area, the better you interact with others. When you are transparent, people trust you more, which improves teamwork and leadership. This is achieved through mutual feedback (both receiving it and giving it). 🔹 Reducing the Blind Spot Becoming aware of your own weaknesses or strengths through feedback helps you better understand yourself and your impact on others. This is critical for resolving conflicts and improving interpersonal skills. 🔹 Managing the Hidden Area By deciding what to reveal and what to keep to yourself, you learn how to build healthy and trusting relationships. This allows you to control how others perceive you and helps create deeper connections. 🔹 Exploring the Unknown Area By daring to take on new challenges, you may discover unexpected talents and possibilities within yourself. This area is a source of innovation, creativity, and personal breakthroughs.

🪟 The Johari Window – a psychological model that helps us understand ourselves better and improve relationships with others. The name “Johari” comes from the creators – Joseph Luft and Harrington Ingham. This model reflects 4 zones of self-awareness: 1️⃣ Open Self (Arena) What I know about myself and what others know about me: my public traits, skills, and behavior. The larger this zone, the more open a person is to others. 2️⃣ Blind Self (Blind Spot) What I don’t know about myself, but others see: manners, habits, even strengths I may not realize. This zone can expand only through feedback from others. 3️⃣ Hidden Self (Facade) What I know about myself but choose not to show others: feelings, thoughts I consciously keep private. This zone shrinks when I decide to open up. 4️⃣ Unknown Self What is unknown both to me and others: my unused potential, hidden talents, unconscious motives. This zone may be revealed through extreme situations, new challenges, or personal growth. ⤵️ To be continued

"We cannot predict the future. Until you actually test your idea in practice, no one in the world can predict its fate. And this is not only about business or creativity — it applies to literally every aspect of life. Now imagine you had to write your biography for future generations. Would you be proud of just your dreams? 👉 What do you think — is it better to dream endlessly or to act, even if you risk failure?"
