written a loooong time ago, c 2016? every 4 bar phrase, there should be a slight acceleration in the tempo. (x% increments = 166%total increase divided by 16phrases maaattthh) The target by the final (16th) phrase is a modulation from C to G, or more importantly, a Perfect Fifth, which is a ratio of 3:2, so it should sound like the song is "Tightening up" the tuning...really the TEMPO which creates an auditory illusion cause time and sound are related blah blah blah. So the tempo by the end, 3:2 ratio increase of whatever the original performer-chosen speed at beginning, edit: the key change was from G to C... but the same principle of ratio, applies. im too lazy to retype. the ultimate effect is that is feels like time itself is tightening up, and before you know it, bam! full solidified bonafide juicy keychange to the resultant key to finish but its a computer and im too lazy to figure out how to make it do the thing i want so i figure ill just type this long winded run on sentence with barely any capitlization, spell check, or punctuation (a fabrication) and you can use the mighty processing power of imagination ^_^
Hi! Here I will Upload a FULL, College Level Music Theory, 4-Semester Course (MusTheory I,II,III, IV) for FREE!!! This is all the stuff they teach you in a 2-year college course (&more!) , condensed into 30ish videos! Join me as I teach using the College Textbook Tonal Harmony by Stefan Kostka, Dorothy Payne, Byron Almén, and I think Timothy Koozin. It's a great textbook, but really needs a helping hand to be taught. Music and the Theory of Sound is important to me! It has properties which influences our health and thought patterns. High Quality Music also shapes our society, as it reflects our values. I hope to teach a many aspiring musicians, so that there is more thoughtful music in the world. I try to take the complex, and make it simple. But realistically, ANY type of music, simple or complex, can benefit from a bit of theory :) [as of August 1st, 2024, I have finished and uploaded the first semester of the series]
