Apparently telling someone who posts an obviously racist comment to "shut up, you racist" is "harassment and bullying" now 🤣🤣and the ONLY reason I figured this one out, is because it happened immediately. Because youtube never actually tells you what naughty words you said when they give you a warning. Left, right, bad, good, purple or green, the only constant is that you tube's rules are against YOU.

Getting a hate speech strike, for mocking a person engaging in hate speech 🤣🤣 Presumably of course. Allegedly. It happened immediately after, but given the nature of "hate speech" they can't very well go and tell you what it is you said, because that would be repeating it and "spreading hate" lmao

Just began reading Robert Heinlein's Starship Troopers today. Already on chapter 6 and the notable differences from this book and that God awful propoganda movie by Verhoeven are: They definitely aren't fascists The "violence" speech by the teacher (which is lifted straight out of fascist theory) never happens. He merely states that "violence never solves anything? Tell that to all of history. Tell that to Carthage, or Napoleon or the Duke of Wellington, and Hitler can moderate! The jury can be the Dodo and (other extinct animals), I would say that historically violence has solved a lot of problems." The scene in which the instructor tosses a knife into a recruit's hand for asking a question, never happens. Instead the instructor calmly answers the recruit's question of why they need to learn to use knives. And calmly encourages the recruit to ask more as he answers each dumb question the recruit asks. Rather gently even, and explains that he is there to teach them so they can survive. The lashing scene is completely changed from the book to be as evil as possible. In the book, the private Henderson disobeys two orders during training and punches his CO, then when the CO takes Henderson to the company commander at _his_ request. He reports nothing of the punch. Henderson then stupidly reports on himself that he struck his CO while "pleading his case" in front of witnesses, and demands to resign from the military, but is _very reluctantly_ sentenced to court marshal and acts like an absolute buffoon the entire time until he gets whipped. Immediately after the sentencing, the book dedicates several pages to the company commander and the CO remorsefully talking about the need for a court marshal and that they didn't think the boy deserved the lashings, but they knew they had to because he was dumb enough to admit his crime in front of everyone. And that's just up to chapter 6. I'm beginning to hate the movie even more for what that hack Verhoeven did.
