The locomotive I have been building for the last 6 months is finally delivered to her new owner who looks as happy as punch. The Fairatt is part Fairlie design and part Garratt design, easily described as a mongrel of two breeds. She is 2ft long, just over 6 inches tall and the only things I didn't make were the safety valves, pressure gauge, gas tank and gas burner.
