O'Hara. Anyway, What a wonderful lady she was Just watched a interview Maureen & John Wayne She was always there for the Duke, Either for Television, Or interview with The Duke, When John Wayne came calling she was there, & her hair Gourgous, When John Wayne died , Some part of Maureen died aswell
They were that close Together as Friends, Here she is
93 year's of age an interview, Anyway.

I sent her a fan letter in the early 2000's and she sent me back two gorgeous 8 by 10 photographs of her when she was young and signed them both "To Jill". I treasure those two gifts still, after all these years later. 😊

She starred with John Wayne in The Quiet Man , Rio Grande, Big Jake , and McClintock. She played with Henry Fonda in SPENSERS MOUNTAIN ( just like Waltons Mountain). Everytime I hear the Lerner and Loewe ballad "Heather On The Hill", I think of Maureen O'Hara because she sang a terrific performance of the song on TV.

Maureen O'Hara, Greer Garson and Olivia DeHavilland were NOT on the list of the 25 greatest actresses of all time. So much for BOGUS lists.

Two of the greats now gone. Maureen O'hara was always my favorite and Robert Osborne had a Hollywood library between those ears and was such a pleasure to hear him review movies on TCM. RIP to 2 Icons of the industry!
