Unfortunately Bella was killed by coyotes. After searching for days, Taura was the one that found her body. She even carried her to the house I think.

Carol Buckley was fired by the sanctuary board a few years ago. She relocated to Georgia and opened a new sanctuary there. Then she went to court and sued the Tennessee sanctuary for custody of Tarra. She won and Tarra is now with her. She took Tarra away from all her elephant friends. 😢😢😢

Beautiful Bela passed away several years ago. She had several bite wounds and they believe she was attacked by coyotes. Precious Tarra found Bela and tenderly scooped her up and took her back to the sanctuary office. Tarra also carried her back to the sanctuary when Bela hurt her back.

This is such a beautiful story. Through her love, support and compassion, Tarra helped Bella to heal and walk again. God bless these 2 beautiful animals. ❤❤
