I'm confused. They told us the number of people who apply for scholarships, number of white people who get the scholarship and number of minority that get the scholarship. They didn't tell us the percent of white people who applied. Of course more white people are going to get scholarships than minorities if more white people are applying than minorities.

It's a good message that was delivered horrendously. Ultimately it's just explaining the inequality between white and non-white, but the way people are portrayed in this video is almost "charity cannibalistic," making it seem like the interviewees in this video are inherently flawed. There are much better ways of documenting this idea, for example Tim Wise's 'White Like Me'

Race is fake totally made up. No science, biology, or genetics explains that race exist. The term "white people" was first used in a Virginia law in the year 1681. Race is a man made social construct aim to devide.

extra scholarships are available for minority students almost as a form of reparations from the government. If racism never existed there would be no need for race based scholarships, but it does. It’s really America saying “we did all these horrible things to minorities in the past here is a way to say we’re sorry for the lack of opportunities.” the lady called it reverse racism but it’s really just facing the consequences of your ancestors actions. your white ancestors caused so much trauma, death and systemic racism that there is even a need for racial scholarships. It’s literally your ancestors fault. but that’s just my opinion🤷‍♀️

also that dude has a lot of audacity for searching “scholarships for white males”😭😭 there is literally no reason anyone would make that. literally hit backspace and search up any other non race-based scholarship, there’s plenty😭😭
