My issue is that for the past week or so the TV seems to work ok but after turning it off it wouldn't power back on... (sometimes standby light on, sometimes standby light off)

unplugging it for a few moments would allow me to then power it back on. I have inspected the boards for obvious damage and dont see anything.

Not sure which thing to go after first... judging by this video I should start with the mainboard.

Try hitting the TV on the back. Someone gave me a Samsung 40 inch and it would not turn on, just stayed on the red light. I looked it up but everyone said you have to take out and repair or replace the main board. BUT someone said just hit it hard on the back and it should work. Well, I did, and it did!!!!! It turned on IMMEDIATELY... Maybe will be the same for your issue as well??? Cheers!

U idiots I found how to fix any TV that has red light won't tun on without ripping TV apart its so easy take the fuse from plug and leave a min the put it back in then hold stand by it will reset TV to setup mode don't rip TV apar 😂

plz help me i have that same samsung model but my tv wont turn on it just sits with a black screen and a red light that just stays on forever i never dropped the tv either i just turned my tv off and when i woke up it wouldnt turn back on :(

Before you get too involved change the batteries in your remote that.was my issue tv lights were on blinked when I pushed the power button on the TV but wouldn't turn on changed batteries everything is fine

hi have a samsung tv UA32FH4003RXXP, when i switch the channel to no signal and left if for about half an hour i forgot to turn it off when j went back it was just went off black screen with solid red light i thought it went on standby so j tried pressing the power button on the remote even long press the power button manually on the tv but still wont turn on.so i have it rested over night but still wont turn on.i then put it aside then after 3weeks i tried to check if it is working before i bring it to the repair shop.to my surprise its working i did change the channel using the tv menu then again i had it stayed on a no signal channel while finding the remote.then when i went back for just few seconds it happen again went black screen with solid red light. i had the technician checked it and he says the power supply is ok it might be the board or it needs firmware update.how to do firmware update if the tv is not turning on? need help how to fix this coz i know its not the board coz it was still working it just that whenever it is placed on a no signal channel it just turn off automatically and never turn on again.

any recommendation or troubleshooting steps is greatly appreciated.hope not to replace the board.

I have a Samsung UN55J6201. I bought this TV just last year and it was working great. I moved in August and had to take my TV down from a wall mount to move it to my new place. It's been boxed for about 3 months. I haven't touched it. Brought it out today and set it up and when I press the power button, the red light blinks, but the T.V. doesn't turn on. Do I need to buy a new main board? Or power board? Or could it be something else due to it just sitting around? I don't understand how it could be broken when not having been used.
