Shark Expert Attacked While Filming

I saw the episode and that shark bit off the experts entire calf! They don't show it here but there was lots of blood in the water. Kudos to the journalist and the assistant/spotter for going into what could have been a feeding frenzy to save him! I would have run out of there so fast!

I remember him being interviewed years later and saying he had nightmares about that for years.

I remember this.. I think it was the first attack on shark week ever and jackass was the second one

Just shows you, these experts don't know shiet 😂 they are just assuming everything. Not luke anyone has ever had a interview with a shark to hear it's life story and goals😂

This is why I am always skeptical of the “experts”

They don't show it here, but at the time, the footage showed ~70%, or more, of Dr. Ritter's calf was taken by the Bull Shark. It was gruesome.

They all think they're exerts .....until they aren't. I think that shark knew the camera was there and decided ,to be the star of the show 🤣🤣🤣🤣

He is so lucky that there wasn’t a huge release of blood into the water that caused a frenzy, and triggered all the other sharks to attack in the area, immediately!😬😳😯
