Glad she blamed herself . I hate it when this stuff happens and even if it’s the humans fault they shoot the bear which probably would have happened if he hadn’t let go. Somehow human life always seems more important than animals.

I almost had something similar to this happen to me with a tiger at a zoo in Delaware, except I didn't have to jump the barrier, as I was already SO close to it, that I could've easily reached out and touched it if I REALLY wanted to. She charged me when I had my back turned towards her to take a picture in front of her exhibit
