Tom Hanks cracks up memorial service

I briefly met Tom Hanks at Heathrow airport in London. He and a security guard were moving through a crowd and I realised it was Tom under a cap. So I just told him I was a huge fan of his work and especially Saving Private Ryan, Castaway and Green Mile. He smiled, shook my hand and off he went.

I just love the phrase “I pray this story is true.” It’s said with such love and earnestness, and when you hear it you know you’re in for a good time. Hopefully someone will say that at my funeral someday.

It's very sad, that he isn't still with us. He was a very talented man.
