October 12, 2019 Well today I gave away this TV. It was still working after nearly 8 years and is now going to someone who can use it. I believe I bought this new in early 2005 not bad.

You guys saved me from having to replace my Toshiba... while it had lasted many years, I thought it was a goner due to the red blinking light.
Now seems to be working perfectly - thanks to everyone who contributed!!

I changed the DLP chip in my TV (65HM167) and when I put it back together it would come on for ten seconds then go off and blink red at 1 second intervals. The manual says it's a BUS line error and to call a service center. I forgot to plug in one of the fans. So yeah, don't forget to do that.

I have a Toshiba TV and it has a led on the bottom right to tell you when it's on stand by and on but ever since I bought the TV when I turn it on stand by it would randomly start flashing Green and red constantly for hours then resumes back to just red . I can still turn on the TV perfectly whenever it's doing the flashing thing and it's never caused a problem because it's always done it but I'm just confused to why the tv was made to do that at random times . I've had the Tv for about 3 years now

Amazingly good advice. As the guy said the web is amazing. Pulling that little plug fixed ours too. A 10-year-old Toshiba 50 inch plasma.

Omg it worked for us too. One thread said it was a PCB and get the board rebuilt which costs more than a new tv. Watched this quick video and it worked. I might not that we also have a different model TV than this video so the piece to remove was in a different t spot but found it, removed it and tah dah. Thanks dally b for sharing 😉

I've got a 23" and tried to find the same plug. I found something like it and unplugged it, but the tv doesn't work. Any ideas?

Thank you! Followed the video, after hunting down the piece you described, voilà working again. Cable comes in fine have not tried HDMI ports yet.  Only issue is cannot turn the TV on manually, must use remote. No biggie;)
