Leo's being very careful not to be controversial here. Jordan Belfort is a scumbag. Leo knows it. Everyone knows it. Even Jordan knows it. But unfortunately he's a devilishly charismatic scumbag, and fortune favours the bold.

Leo is underrated actor for sure. I would like to think it is because that role in Titanic. He was too young to deliver Jack Dawson. In 1912 men would be more serious, not childish the way Leo is acting. In my opinion troubles for him getting Oscar before The revenant stared because of Titanic.

Everyone reveres Belfort like he’s a hero , when really all he was was a scamming CON ARTIST and ruined many people’s /families lives.
But not surprised someone like Decaprio would be in awe of him. The same goes for Rose .
