Several of the characters were absolutely fantastic! The growth trajectory of the Sloan character was outstanding. The growth of the Neal character was slight and minor, but interesting. The vast majority of characters don't REALLY change. Their circumstances change, but they pretty much have the exact same personality and character
The changes to the Maggie character in the second season were pretty bad. Her character changed a lot.
The incredibly abrupt change in the third season to make the Reese character more likable directly before introducing some new antagonists to replace Reece as an antagonist was pretty lame.
It felt like they basically gave up in the third season with the court subplot and the modernization subplot about the end of classic media.
The first season was basically a perfect season of TV. Then they practically stopped focusing on every news aspect that made the first season stand out. Instead of each episode being about a major news event (from roughly 18 months earlier) told with clear hindsight and showing the strengths and weaknesses of the media ... then, generally the show stopped and began to make up or dramatically change what was being "reported" in the show and a LOT more runtime filled with relationship drama.

His speech on that would absolutely lose me as a listener because he straw man's her question. She didn't ask about America being #1 in several categories. She asked about America being the greatest which a country can be the greatest and still have numerous non #1 placements.
America, your dreams can come true is big one.
America, there is a reason why the American president is titled the leader of the freedom speaking world.
America, because for the most part, religious freedom can not be legally infringed upon.
America, you do not have to do what your parents do. There are countries that is the norm. To do anything but what they do, is difficult and likely frowned upon.
America, because our economy is strong.
