Thought that was Louis Theroux doing the voice over for a moment there .. I was flying on the 787 when it was new we had a lot of engine issues such as blowing out smoke in the middle of the Atlantic or electrical failures of all the planes in my company’s fleet they were my least favourite I just had a general feeling of feeling unsafe when working on them with the recent events & attention to Boeing 787s makes me glad I don’t work on them anymore disaster waiting to happen.

boeing can't go back on the rails by itself. US government should stop do anything of subsidizing. boeing messes up T7 program, so does us air force pilot training program.

Americans are pioneers of new technology.
A great nation of inventions.
But when it comes to mass production of quality vehicles or aeroplanes...they always underperform.

It's because mass production requires team effort, discipline and craftsmanship.

Reminiscent of Toyota.🚗

I spoke with a Boeing engineer nearly 20 years ago about the new planes coming up. The one he was working on was called the 9. I got to see the blueprints and exterior design with the giant 9 at the tail. It was either re-named or canceled, obviously. It was absolutely MASSIVE and I expressed concern it was FAR too large to safely fly. "Yeah, but the bigger the plane, the more fuel is aboard, right?" "With it being that big, won't it catch too much wind in storms and get massive turbulence?" "I don't know that I would want to get on it. It seems too dangerous to carry THAT many people and fuel." Planes really have gotten far too large.

Boeing not scared of booing

Not going Boeing

Same stories as today on 787 they had for the Max after the first Lion Air accident. Same snobbishness. Same arrogance. Same criminal negligence

They don't want to make amends

They just want to CONTAIN crisis after crisis after crisis

Their only hope is a takeover by Airbus

I just think of all the times I’ve flown on a Boeing. Boeing needs to go bankrupt and bring in airbus but not the 320. It’s one of the ten most deadliest airplanes in the workd

42:37 Wow! So who is the more senior here? This guy looks like a puppet spokesman reading from a script whilst his ‘handler’ is ultimately in control, stopping the interview. Loftis got super nervous, red face too at this point and again repeated his script. As another has said, greed will catch up to you in the end. Unfortunately there are personality types who have no problem at all with these types of business practices 🇬🇧

Remember this video was made almost 10 years ago long long before the 737 max issues and crashes and the latest 787-9 issues. Result .. nothing has changed and in fact much worse.. if it is a Boeing.. avoid it

Instead of making a stainless steel box and trying to contain the fire and starve it of oxygen, why don’t they just find a freaking battery that doesn’t catch fire? Hello?
